Punta Cana.- Sun Country Airlines has announced new winter season flights from Milwaukee’s Gen Mitchell International Airport (MKE) to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Montego Bay, Jamaica, for the 2024/2025 season.
The Punta Cana route will commence on December 26, 2024, with two weekly flights, increasing to four weekly flights starting in January. The Montego Bay route will begin on January 25, 2025, with two weekly flights.
With this addition, Milwaukee becomes the 21st U.S. city offering non-stop flights to Punta Cana. Sun Country already operates flights to this Dominican destination from Dallas-Fort Worth during the summer.
Additionally, Sun Country will resume its seasonal route to Cancun, Mexico. Including these new flights, the airline now operates eight routes from Milwaukee, according to AviacionOnline.
Sun Country Airlines operates 122 routes serving 108 airports across the United States, Mexico, Central America, Canada, and the Caribbean. The airline offers free in-flight entertainment on passengers’ devices and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.
