Santo Domingo.- On Wednesday, President Luis Abinader will depart for London, England to attend the coronation events of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camila, accompanied by his wife Raquel Arbaje. The Presidency announced that they will fly via Miami, United States, and arrive in London on Thursday morning.
On Friday, the President will start his official itinerary with a breakfast hosted by the Royal Family at Lancaster House for the representatives of the Island States. Later in the afternoon, there will be a reception held at Buckingham Palace for international delegations, hosted by His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Consort Camila. The President and the first lady will be in attendance.
On Saturday, the day of the coronation, President Abinader and his wife will go to Church House before proceeding to Westminster Abbey for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests will attend a luncheon hosted by the UK Foreign Secretary and other high-ranking officials.
The President and his wife will return to their home country on Sunday, May 7th in the evening.
