Santo Domingo.- This Friday morning, President Luis Abinader welcomed U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken to the National Palace, the headquarters of the Dominican Republic’s government. Secretary Blinken arrived at the palace around 10:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, Blinken was greeted on the front steps by Minister of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza, Vice Minister of Multilateral Foreign Policy Rubén Silié, and Ambassador Francisco José Cantizano Nadal, Director of State Ceremonies and Protocol. The delegation then escorted Blinken to the White Room for a private meeting with President Abinader.
