Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Senate welcomed a delegation of senators from Massachusetts to enhance legislative collaboration and explore initiatives benefiting the Dominican diaspora in the U.S. Discussions focused on social, educational, and labor rights, aiming to improve the quality of life for Dominicans residing in Massachusetts.
This meeting underscores the Senate’s efforts to build relationships with international legislative bodies and promote the welfare of citizens abroad. Previously, the Senate engaged with lawmakers from New York, resulting in collaboration on significant laws, including the Asset Forfeiture Law, which advances justice and transparency.
